Ear of the Wind, Monument Valley, Arizona
The was my only chance to actually scramble around on the sandstone at Monument Valley. It's remarkably easy to get traction with good hiking boots, and I found I could climb some pretty steep rock. I'd like to get back and do more of that, but the Navajo are pretty touchy about it.
