Pleasant, but hardly helpful

These stones once formed cairns, to guide your way across the unmarked slickrock to a viewpoint overlooking Canyon de Chelly. Now, thanks to some helpful visitor, they smile up at you but fail to help. This is not the Ranger ideal at all. But then, the smiley face isn't wearing a hat either.
