Busy busy busy

It's been very, very busy around here. We've been in Utah for family stuff, and then California looking for a rental home. We've got one and we're waiting for the results back on the lease. I've got a rant on the decline of American education all ready to spew forth, but no time to write it. We'll load the truck on Monday and hopefully move in to the new place on Wednesday, and I'll have more time then. Lots more time, since I'm back to an unemployed state.

UPDATE: I made myself a liar over the next two hours when I found time to write and edit precisely that screed on higher education.
